Product Labels


Overview

In order to simplify product identification during order fulfilment,  Sellercloud allows you to print product and location labels. You can customize the information you want printed on the labels, including basic information, like SKU or UPC with barcodes, or more in-depth information, like ASIN and Brand. In addition, custom plugins can be developed to print information in any format with help from Sellercloud Support.

To print a label with basic info on product’s SKU and UPC identifiers and displayed barcodes, follow the steps described below.
  1. Access Inventory > Manage Inventory.
  2. Open the product you want to print a location label for.
  3. In the upper-right corner, click Actions, and select Print Labels.
  4. In the Print Labels dialog box, select the Location Labels option.
  5. In the Label Qty field, enter the number of labels you want to print.
  6. Click Print.Location Label Print
When printing a product label, you can specify product identifiers (SKU, UPC, ASIN, FINSKU, etc.) and the size of a label.
  1. Access Inventory > Manage Inventory.
  2. Open the product you want to print a product label for.
  3. In the upper-right corner, click Actions, and select Print Labels.
  4. In the Print Labels dialog box, select the Product Labels option. Once selected, the product identifiers list is enabled. Select the appropriate one.
  5. In the Label Size Option, select the geometric dimensions to be applied to the label. 
  6. In the Label Qty field, enter the number of labels you want to print.
  7. Click Print.Product Labels Print
To place specific information on a label, use the respective pre-configured plugin.
  1. Access Inventory > Manage Inventory.
  2. Open the product you want to print a specific label for.
  3. In the upper-right corner, click Actions, and select Print Labels.
  4. In the Print Labels dialog box, select the Print Via Plugin option. 
  5. In the Select Plugin field, select the appropriate custom plugin.
  6. In the Label Qty field, enter the number of labels you want to print.
  7. Click Print.

  1. Access Inventory > Manage Inventory.
  2. Select the products you want to print the labels for.
  3. In the bottom-right corner, click the Actions icon, and select Print Labels.Print Multiple Labels
  4. The Print Labels page appears. In the Products panel, indicate the number of labels to be printed on each selected product.
  5. Specify the label type by selecting the respective Location Labels, Product Labels, or Print via Plugin option.
  6. For Product Labels, specify the identifier to be displayed and label dimensions to be applied.
  7. For Print via Plugin, select the requested plugin.

Understanding product labels

Product labels can be printed for easy identification and scanning. Basic labels can print a SKU or UPC (with barcodes), or they can print more information such as the ASIN and Brand. Custom plugins can be developed to print more info and in any format. By default, product labels print on a 3 x 1 single row label rolls. However, a plugin can be used to print out product labels on to a 30 page Avery Style label sheet. The plugin — GeneralPerPagePRoductLabel — can be installed onto your server at no cost.

Printing product labels

  1. Manage Inventory page, select products. Or you can go to an individual product’s home page and select Print Product Label from the action menu.
  2. From action menu, select Print Product Labels. Press Go.
  3. On the following page, select one of the standard label formats. Or select to use a plugin and select the plugin.
  4. Enter a print label quantity.
  5. Press Print Barcodes.
